How conversations + credits work
We measure usage in credits because every conversation has a different shape — some are quick “hi, what time you open?” chats (2-3 credits), others are deep lead captures (8-10 credits). The figures above (100 / 300 / 700 conversations) are based on a typical 5-message average.
The visitor types something, hits send → 1 credit. Doesn't matter how long their message or how long the bot's reply. Bot replies are free.
When the visitor attaches a photo (up to 4 per message), the message costs 2 credits — Vision Q&A is more expensive to run.
Visitor says hi, asks 2-3 questions, gives their WhatsApp number. That's ~5 messages back-and-forth. Starter (500 credits) ≈ 100 conversations/month.

Look at your current weekly visitor messages — if your site already has any chat traffic, multiply by 4 for a monthly estimate. Under 100/mo → Starter. 100-300/mo → Growth (most popular). 300+/mo → Business. If you're brand new, start with Starter — upgrading takes one click and Stripe prorates so you only pay the difference.
A 'conversation' is one visitor chatting with the bot. Each visitor message uses 1 credit (or 2 if they attach a photo). A typical 5-message back-and-forth uses about 5 credits. We market in conversations because that's what owners actually care about, but bill in credits because conversation length varies wildly.

Top-ups are designed as 'emergency credit' for when you forgot to upgrade and need capacity NOW. Subscription credits are bulk-discounted because you're committing to a monthly cycle. If you regularly need top-ups, it's almost always cheaper to move up a tier — that's by design.

Tenant data is RLS-isolated at the Postgres layer. Pre-chat analytics store only session ID + event type + timestamp — no IP, no user agent, no page URL, no PII. Right-to-be-forgotten requests deleted within 7 days. Default lead retention is 12 months (per the Privacy Policy). Image uploads expire after 30 days.
